Based in Albuquerque, Avery is the filmmaker and owner of For the Love of It - Wedding Films. With a passion for storytelling, Avery has dedicated himself to crafting personalized and creative wedding films. Natalie is the head of marketing and assistant editor. She adds attention to detail that is unmatched.

At For the Love of It - Wedding Films, the goal is to provide couples with a custom and heartfelt experience. Recognizing the individuality of each love story, Avery approaches every project with care and attention to detail, ensuring that every film is a true reflection of the couple's unique journey.

With a keen eye for capturing authentic emotions and heartfelt moments, Avery and Natalie weave together a visual narrative that will stand the test of time. Their aim is to surpass traditional wedding documentation, creating films that are infused with love, joy, and authenticity.

Our Process

  • We will connect through Zoom or meet for a coffee to have a detailed discussion about your wedding film package and gather all necessary details to ensure that we understand your vision. Once you're ready to proceed with the booking process, we will send over a contract and an invoice outlining the specifics of your chosen package. A 30 percent deposit is required to secure the date of your special event. After that, you can look forward to having an amazing wedding film that beautifully captures your special day!

  • We arrive at least 15 minutes early. We usually start with morning drone shots using a Dji Air 2s. Then, we check how the getting-ready process is going. We come prepared with a Sony a7siii. For the ceremony, we use two main cameras and a GoPro. We mic the groom and officiant, and can mic the bride if asked. We film discreetly, positioning myself about 15 to 20 feet in front of you on a gimbal as you exit for that key moment. Every wedding is unique, so this may vary for yours; sometimes there isn't even an aisle. That's the charm of filming weddings—they're always different.

  • Once your wedding day has come to an end, our work continues. We back up the footage on 2 hard drives. If you chose to get raw footage you will receive it with the SSD once the edit is completed. Edits take about 60 days. We like to get them finished sooner but don’t want to over promise. Depending on your preferences we can release the video for you or let you do it. Of if you choose to keep it private we can do that too. At this point should be able to sit back and watch your wedding film, reliving some of the most beautiful, funny, happy moments in your life.
